Hard Earmolds
Earmold Materials
Many factors should be considered when selecting an earmold material: hearing loss, ear texture, acoustic options, tubing, possible allergies to material, colors, etc.

Lucite (Acrylic)
- Hard, durable, plastic material
- Easy to maintain
- Recommended for mild to moderate hearing losses
- A non-allergenic acrylic is available
- Comes standard clear, brushed velvet (dull)
- Available in high gloss (shiny), Hydamold, glitter, and all of our solid colors
- Other labs refer to this material as: Acrylic

Polyethelene (Poly)
- Hard, wax-like material
- Recommended for mild to moderate hearing losses
and for those who are allergic to any kind of acrylic - Hypoallergenic
- This material is available only in white
- No glues will adhere to this material
- Other labs refer to this material as: Poly or Non-toxic

Soft Power Seal (SPS)
- Acrylic mold with a soft acrylic coating
- Designed for those who want added comfort to a hard mold
- Recommended for losses up to 70dB at 1000Hz
- Comes standard clear
- Available in Hydamold and all of our solid colors
